"What format did you shoot?" "I printed my movie out on an HP Inkjet Printer!"

I'm on Robert's bed now (if these sheets could talk...or cry) while a police station is built in the living room. Nearly all aspects of this station are being constructed out of 8 1/2" x 11"paper. Somehow it works on camera. I remember Last March when I came out to LA with Sheldon we took the Warners studio tour. Forty dollars later, a tour guide showed us the reception area of ER and one of the walls was made completely out of this printed out monstrosity. I was amazed. Never would I ever think a show on a major network would do this; but there it was.

Now watching the Dastoli's print their whole movie out on various types of paper just shows how far the form has come. What reads on camera and what doesn't. It reminds me of my favorite episode of The Simpsons. The Radioactive Movie is being shot and a teamster is being asked why they paint horses to look like cows.

STOLEN FROM WIKIPEDIA (the definitive information source)

[A prop man is painting black spots onto horses.]
Martin Prince: Uh, sir, why don't you just use real cows?
Painter: Cows don't look like cows on film. You got to use horses.
Ralph Wiggum: What do you do if you want something that looks like a horse?
Painter: Usually we just tape a bunch of cats together.

Movie Magic.
